Immigration legislation distinguishes between the different circumstances that allow foreign residents without a work permit to carry out certain profit-making, economic or professional activities in our country.
Some examples of individuals and groups who are not required to have a work permit in Spain to carry out labor practices are the following:
- Scientists, researchers or technicians, who have been invited or hired by the General Admission of the State, an autonomous community, a univerisity, or local governments or entities, as long as their goal is geared towards research development and promotion.
- Managers, teachers, cultural or institutional professors dependent on other countries or private entities and officially recognized in Spain with plans to develop cultural and educational programs in Spanish territory.
- Civilian or military officials from foreign national administrations or foreign media correspondents who plan to develop cooperation activities with a Spanish administration, as long as they are duly accredited by Spanish authorities as special correspondents sent to work in the region.
